The Gold Coast Bar Alliance are a Calisthenics workout team that exercise to increase strength, flexibility, agility and balance.
Calisthenics are a form of exercise consisting of a variety of simple, often rhythmical, movements, generally without using equipment or apparatus. They are intended to increase body strength and flexibility using only one's body weight for resistance.
Calisthenics when performed vigorously and with variety can benefit both muscular and cardiovascular fitness, in addition to improving psychomotor skills such as balance, agility and coordination.
A few basic exercises include; pull-ups, push-ups and dips. These basic exercises, as well as others have hundreds of different variations to make it more, or less challenging for the individual.
Our goal is to inspire the world by showing one person at a time that living a healthier lifestyle and getting in shape is often easier than it seems. You don’t need expensive supplements, gym memberships or equipment, Calisthenics can be done anywhere, anytime.
